Submission Agreement and Guidelines for the Horribly Sound YouTube Channel
Terms of Submission: By submitting your short story this YouTube Channel, you are entering into the following terms and conditions:
- Usage Rights: You hereby grant Horribly Sound the right to use your story for commercial purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, the broadcasting, distribution, and promotion of your story on the Horribly Sound YouTube Channel and any affiliated platforms.
- Editing Rights: You understand and agree that Horribly Sound reserves the right to edit, modify, and make necessary changes to the story to suit the platform’s requirements or for any other reason deemed appropriate by the channel.
- Compensation: If your story is selected and narrated by this Youtube Channel:
- You will earn $30.00 USD for your short stories.
We will reach out to you through the email you provided to discuss your payment preferences, which can include options like CashApp, Venmo, and PayPal.
- Story Length and Content:
- Your story, whether based on real events or fictional, should not exceed 2,000 words.
- You should structure all submitted stories with a beginning, middle, and end. If your story is incomplete or you’re submitting an experience rather than a full story, please provide as detailed a description as possible of what you experienced or envisioned. By doing so, you grant Horribly Sound permission to expand upon and flesh out your submission to create a full narrative.
